Women's and Children's Hospital

The hospital accommodates 120 beds and specializes in the welfare of both mother and child. The concept behind the design is healing through nature. Studies have shown that an exposure to natural elements speeds up the recovery of patients. Keeping this in mind, open terraces have been provided for all the in-patient floors. Indoor play areas are also provided for children on these floors.
As most of ones time is spent waiting at hospitals, all the waiting rooms are positioned with a view towards the interior courtyard. Another key feature of the design is the separation of the in-patient and out-patient areas in order to create more private spaces.
